This may not be the worst decision that Obama could make

Yes he did cave to the Laffer curve lotus eaters, who don’t seem to get the connection between spending, not taxing, and debt; but it’s only two years. If he manages to hold onto his seat in the election he can be sitting pretty while the economy rebounds and see the economy grow under the older tax scheme. Granted The lotus eaters will say that the growth was spurred by the tax cuts and that with out it the economy would still be sunk, and if the tax cuts weren’t included then they would blame all the lag between now and when the economy picks up on that decision. but the important thing is that the economy will rebound. It just needs time.

    wish I was sure the economy was going to rebound

    but I keep telling folks the economy will only get worse untill our labor is as cheap as mexico’s
