“Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity” Does it mean what you think it means?

It’s an analogy, so it’s subject to weakness there, and I’m going to ignore the first part and just say a bit about the second part. How exactly do you think Virgins come to be? It’s not from not screwing, no matter how much you sit at home playing WoW or pray in a church it’s not coming back. New Virgins are minted as a matter of fact via the screwing process. So when you say “Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity” in fact what you are implying is that the only possible way to get peace is to fight for it, which is not what the type to say that tends to mean.

It’s screwing for virginity, not for virgins. Your analysis flawed. The analogy is that fighting to promote peace is akin to having sex to promote virginity.

Yes, virginity is different than virgins, in the same way height is different from tall people. A virgin is a person who has the quality of virginity. There is only one way to get more of the quality of virginity and that is to get more virgins. You didn’t notice some flaw in my logic via a different that I didn’t notice, you missed the link I explicitly made between those two different but inextricably linked things.
